Canadian pop singer The Weeknd cut short a concert in California on Saturday after losing his voice during a performance.
After four songs at SoFi Stadium, the artist said he had to cancel the show and told the audience they would get their money back.
"My voice dropped during the first song and I'm devastated,"
The Weeknd tweeted, promising to make up for it with a new date.
He was in the middle of performing his hit song "Can't Feel My Face" when he left the stage,
Another song briefly began to play, then the lights came on at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood.
The Weekend then returned to the stage to apologize for his vocal issues and promised the audience a refund,
According to a video shared by a concertgoer on Twitter.
The next date planned for the "After Hours Til Dawn" tour is September 22nd in Toronto.
The tour was previously postponed twice due to the pandemic.
